The 19 momme silk feels noticeably thicker and softer against my face than the cheaper satin mask I used before, and no more red marks on my nose after a long day. The adjustable straps actually stay put behind my ears instead of slipping. Two weeks in and it's still glossy after a gentle hand wash.
