The 19 momme silk feels noticeably heavier and smoother than the cheaper satin set I had before, and it actually breathes so I don't wake up sweaty. Washed it once on delicate and the sheen held up fine, no pilling at the seams.
These are the first pajamas I've owned that don't cling or make me sweat through the night. The charmeuse has a cool, slippery feel against the skin and the pants actually stay put instead of riding up. Washed them twice already and the satin sheen is still there.
The 19 momme silk feels noticeably thicker than the cheaper satin set I had before, and it still breathes enough that I don't wake up sweaty. The pants have a proper drawstring instead of just elastic, which keeps them from sliding down overnight.
